Our Team

In addition to the required CSCS cards we carry out regular in-house training using a web-based platform that allows all the team to complete online training modules including, manual handling, fire safety awareness, hand hygiene, asbestos awareness, use of fire extinguishers amongst others.

We encourage personal development and also understand that working away from home and long hours can take a toll on everyone’s work life balance, we have 4 members of staff trained in mental health awareness and we are having one of our office members trained as a Mental Health First Aider. We have recently partnered with Mates in Mind, a registered UK charity raising awareness, addressing the stigma of poor mental health and promoting positive mental wellbeing across workplaces. All management have an open-door policy to all employees.

We reward our engineers with multiple schemes, an extra day’s holiday for loyalty 5 years’ service, employee of the month, engineer of the year, employee of the year amongst others. On our annual training day, we all get together to culture team spirit, and share best practices.

Nick Fairhurst - MD

Nick has over 35 years experience in the steel engineer business, Steel work has always been a passion of Nick's and he has worked his way up through the trade from steel erector to Site Manager and is now MD of his own successful company. He has gained many qualifications during this time including Leica and Autocad Training, CPCS Card, CSCS Black Card, CSCS Gold Card, First Aid Training, SMSTS Card, PTS Card and full Citation training. He is always looking to add to his training and recently completed a Working at Height course.

Dyfrig - Engineering Team Leader

Dyfrig has been employed with the company almost since it was established in 2006. He has many qualifications in his field including Leica and Autocad Training, CSCS Card, NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision, 3 Day First Aid, SSTS Card, GSAT Certificate and full Citation training.

Jane – Finance Manager

Jane is the co-owner of Arthur Hudson Site Engineers and our finance manager. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience with accounting and has her AAT level 4 qualifications. She is also the manager of all office staff.

Vanessa – Accounts Assistant

Vanessa has been with Arthur Hudson Site Engineers for 3 years and has risen from admin assistant to accounts assistant. She has recently begun her AAT level 2 and is thriving within her account’s role.
